IE 6 CSS Bugs

Today I'm glad to say that all of my free templates are finally tweaked to deal with Internet Explorer (IE) Ver. 6 css bugs. I've just reckoned this problem when some of my friends recently told me that my templates were not rendered correctly on IE and after I investigated further, they are using IE v.6. After googling, I got the answer from this site , and made some adjustment to my css.

Well, I must apologize to those of you who have downloaded my previous template codes, coz I am not realize this IE6 bugs. Iam using IE 7. Now, all the templates are (hopefully) fixed.

Learning from this mistake, I have also tested my templates on various browsers and platforms. These are the list of platforms, browsers and results:

OS: Linux Fedora Core 4
Firefox 1.5.0 / 2.0.0 -rendered correctly
Konqueror 3.4.0-5 -rendered correctly
Mozilla 1.7.12 -rendered correctly
Opera 9.0 - error
OS: Machintos OSX 10.3
Camino 1.0 -rendered correctly
Explorer 5.2 -rendered correctly
Firefox 1.50 / 2.0.0 -rendered correctly
Mozilla 1.6 / 1.7.2 -rendered correctly
Netscape 7.2 -rendered correctly
Opera 8.5.0 / 9.0 -rendered correctly
Safari 1.2 / 1.3 -rendered correctly
OS: Machintos OSX 10.4
Camino 1.0 -rendered correctly
Explorer 5.2 -rendered correctly
Firefox 1.5 / 2.0 -rendered correctly
Mozilla 1.6 -rendered correctly
Mozilla 1.7.12 - error
Netscape 7.2 -rendered correctly
Opera 8.5.0 -rendered correctly
Opera 9.0 - error
Safari 2.0 -rendered correctly
OS: Windows 98
Explorer 4.0 - error
OS: Windows Vista
Explorer 7.0 - rendered correctly
Firefox 2.0 - rendered correctly
Opera 9.0 - rendered correctly
OS: Windows XP
Explorer 6.0 / 7.0 - rendered correctly
Firefox 1.5 - error
Firefox 2.0 - rendered correctly
Mozilla 1.6 - error
Mozilla 1.7.12 - rendered correctly
Netscape 6.2.3 - error
Netscape 7.2 - rendered correctly
Opera 8.5.0 - rendered correctly
Opera 9.0 - rendered correctly

Well acording to my list above, it can be seen that firefox 2.0 can rendered correctly the templates on almost all platforms, excluding Windows 98.

Sakura Template

This is my first attempt on making blogger's "new-template". Well, I wasn't really making it. I used "denim", which is a default new template, and just made a fiew change to get a new look and feel.
My friend Tari who actualy asked me to build a new template for her new blog by using a very nice blogsite which I found on the internet as "precedence" :) and so far I'm glad that it has the quality that I want.
The biggest challenge for me in making this template is, ofcourse, how to customize the template using blogger's new page element tags in order to compose the layout that I want. Thats why I start to make a simple layout first. :)
In a fiew days ahead maybe I will put a link for downloading this template.
